Open Question: Does Medicaid cover the Mirena IUD birth control method in North Carolina?

I live in NC and I am currently on Medicaid. I have a 1 year old daughter, and my husband and I are both in school. Neither of us want another child right now, and birth control pills are getting to much of a hassle for me to remember each and every day. With our fixed income, we simply cannot afford another baby right now either. (Thus the reason I am on medicaid.) I am really thinking about getting the Mirena IUD and can't afford 500.00+ for that either. So, I am hoping that medicaid would pay for it...
